Are you seeking an outstanding opportunity to work with a world-class team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. We are in search of a Customer Service Representative II in Eindhoven who is determined to deliver flawless customer experiences and successfully implement solutions that meet our high standards.

Customer Service Representative II

Administratively supporting EMEA Field Service Managers, Remote Service Engineers, Supervisors & Engineers, together with our finance and logistics teams. You are carrying out operational activities in QAD (ERP system) along with processing part order requests, quoting for non-contractual related activities and parts, invoicing. With a key focus on customer satisfaction and maintaining departmental goals.

The candidate will be required to operate at 80% proficiency and skilled/trained across all markets and businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer happiness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and problem resolution.
  • Process orders, manage accounts, and update customer information accurately and promptly.
  • Apply proven communication skills to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Strictly adhere to company policies and compliance requirements during all interactions.
  • Find opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of standard methodologies.
  • Successfully implement strategies to improve customer experience and support our mission to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
  • Receive telephone calls and e-mails from customers, Field Service teams, internal stakeholders
  • Prepare and send quotes to customers, accurately process high volumes of part orders and service requests.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within a technical or scientific industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Outstanding problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ambitious and self-motivated with a passion for continuous learning and development.
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages are an asset.
