Job Responsibilities

  • Achieve planned growth for revenue and bookings in the assigned accounts/territory while maintaining or exceeding margin goals.
  • Provide realistic sales forecasts to management and communicate any significant changes or developments in a proactive and timely manner.
  • Build, analyze, and understand business trends to seek opportunities to improve current sales within assigned regions.
  • Evaluate market trends, gain competitive information, and identify trends that affect current and future growth of regional sales and profitability.
  • Qualify enterprise service business opportunities in the early sales cycle. Manage the pipeline to ensure timely pursuit of opportunities. Ensure Thermo Fisher is encouraged to participate in all associated RFPs.
  • Collaborate with key account customers to understand their business needs and strategic objectives, establish relationships with decision-makers, and identify, develop, and close enterprise services business opportunities.
  • Understand the generic strengths and vulnerabilities of major competitors and develop sales strategies to respond optimally and drive driven differentiation.
  • Engage with other departments at Thermo Fisher to implement strategies, identify and address business opportunities that promote partnership, collegiality, and harmony, and overcome obstacles.
  • Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with Thermo Fisher Scientific policies and applicable laws.
