Job Description:
Reporting to Product Group Owner and working with Product Owner of Merchant Solutions Seamless and Fast Transaction Processing. The Senior Product Analyst will be responsible for understanding the business strategy, collaborating with POD members within an Agile framework to support product development tactics, contributing to end-to-end deliverables, and ensuring the successful achievement of Business OKRs (Objective and Key Results).
Key accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
- Product Analyst role on Merchant Acquiring Strategic and Regulatory/Compliance initiatives, ensuring alignment to the business goals and customer needs, contributing to the Product Roadmap and Target Operating Model for acquirer transaction processing.
- Maintain up-to-date awareness of compliance, competitive and industry landscape, identify product enhancement, market needs and competitive trends to inform strategy, support the development and implementation of solutions.
- Conduct impact assessments when changes affecting our products are proposed. Develop and maintain a current state of Transaction Processing capabilities to support more agile incremental changes.
- Support the Product Owner or Product Manager to align on priorities and milestones and ensure most valuable and critical changes are developed first. This includes grooming and refining backlogs.
- Act as a key liaison, collaborating closely with stakeholders to develop and refine requirements for acquirer transaction authorization processing. Gather feedback and conduct comprehensive analysis to ensure product capabilities align with business objectives and address various needs, including enhancing customer and colleague experience, ensuring seamless integration, and meeting compliance standards.
- Support the development, implementation and understanding of training material, procedures, and processes.
- Interact with vendors, internal and external partners for business function management, identify issues and develop resolutions.
- Contribute to a positive work environment by embracing diversity and supporting and proudly representing TD in the community.
Job Requirements
- Preferably 5+ years working experience in the payments industry, with a focus on merchant acquiring, terminal management, payment processing, transaction gateways, or a similar role within Mobile APP Product development, software product management.
- 3+ years of Agile-related delivery experience is considered an asset.
- Understand Acquirer Compliance and Security standard with delivery experience is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of payment processing protocols (e.g., ISO8583; ISO20022; EMV)
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a detail-oriented approach to solving complex payment processing issues.
- Proven working independently interpersonal and relationship management skills, detail-oriented with the ability to follow up on items or determine appropriate steps for timely resolution.
- Strong verbal/written communication with the ability to convey technical issues to non-technical stakeholders and articulate the end-to-end business impact.
- Experience with presenting and sharing recommendations to management team.
- Strong team collaboration skills are essential.
