The Fund Order specialist is an integral member of the Team responsible for delivering quality service to assigned clients of the team. He/She must contribute to the team on technical matters in both quality of service and communication with internal clients and other supporting departments. The Fund Order Specialist is required to solve problems and provide assistance to the other Fund Order Specialist. Achieving quality of service is a team effort and the Fund Order Specialist needs to function at all times as a team player and ensure that other members of the team do so too.

The Fund Order Services Analyst is required to solve problems and provide assistance to the other Fund Order Services Analysts and Specialists. Achieving quality of service is a team effort and the Fund Order Services Analyst needs to function at all times as a team player.

Responsibilities:

As Fund Order Specialist you will:
• Create, maintain and amend Static Data in the system following the relevant launches, product changes and inquiries
• Monitor the processing of transaction orders
• Contact external Transfer Agents and vendors on transactions progress
• Create and send specific Client Reports
• Provide necessary support and information according to the clients' and internal queries
• Maintain high level of control and monitoring of system applications and work flow.
• Keep up-to-date with all changes in the market practices/procedures/new technology as well as internal changes within SSB
• Be involved in departmental ad-hoc projects.
• Make recommendations for changes to processes and procedures.
• Resolve review points highlighted by Fund Order Services Specialists and team supervisor and ensure they are kept informed of progress.
• Establish and maintain good working relationships with internal clients and colleagues.
• Take responsibility for personal development and training

Specific Qualifications / Skills:

• Numeracy / literacy skills
• PC literate and competent in use of spreadsheets and word processing
• An understanding of fund administration is required
• Excellent English; knowledge of German is an advantage
• High attention to details

• Fostering collaboration and teamwork
• Ability to perform effectively within strict client deadlines

Level Of Education:

University Students or Graduates (preferred)

Previous Level Of Experience:

Previous experience in financial industry preferred but not essential.

Business Knowledge, Breadth of Expertise Develops an understanding of the team structure and remit, not expected to have a breadth of expertise
