Mission

The position will be an integral part of Enterprise Risk Management's Credit Risk team and will be responsible for working with Credit Officers to design, develop and optimize tools and reports supporting processes within the Credit Risk management framework.

Scope of responsibilities:

  • Automate Credit Risk monitoring processes, working with risk officers, IT, and other project team members in several global sites to define process and technology targets;
  • Design smart & sustainable solutions that then get implemented;
  • Develop hi-end risk insights using data and technology;
  • Maintain developed solutions;
  • Proactively spot process improvements as well as innovation opportunities;
  • Self-starter to define and do agile projects to harmonize, standardize and automate;
  • Go extra mile, drive and inspire others in delivering quality and process improvement initiatives;
  • Provide support to the operations team, including reporting and other tasks as required.

Skills we value:

  • Master's Degree in Mathematics or Statistics or Finance or Information Technology;
  • 6+ years of professional experience in one of the following areas: finance or information technology;
  • Experience in data analytics programming languages such as Python
  • Solid understanding of SQL and experience working with relational databases (e.g., Oracle) and query optimization
  • Experience working with BI Tools desired (e.g., Spotfire).

Soft Skills:

  • Fluency in English;
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to learn new technology platforms
  • Credit Risk experience a plus
  • Experience in process automation and re-engineering desired
  • Front-office mentality and culture
  • Appetite to know unknown, search and find
  • Self-disciplined in project management
  • Demonstrated high energy and strong motivation to add value to the organization
  • Ability to work in a team towards common goal
