Soho House is a collection of private members' clubs and restaurants spread throughout Europe, the UK and America. Each house and restaurant maintains its own personality and atmosphere but the ethos has remained the same; serving fantastic cocktails and simple but delicious food in a comfortable and relaxed environment.
The Venue…
Housed in a 1907 warehouse in the fashionable Randolph Market area, the six-storey building was originally the manufacturing centre of the Chicago Belting Factory and includes many original features such as ornamented entrance lobby and exposed concrete. The House includes 40 bedrooms, a full sized pool, screening room, gym and a glass enclosed rooftop bar & kitchen. Additionally, it is the home of the first US outpost of Allis and Chicken Shop, exciting restaurant concepts developed by Soho House in London.

The Role...
- Provide outstanding personal training and group training to members and hotel guests.
- Ensure proper use and handling of class equipment & gym equipment.
- Ensure safe practices of members and hotel guests while participating in trainings or classes.
- Accurately record, schedule, document and submit personal training sessions and group fitness classes.
- Assist in upholding studio cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation to Soho House standards.
- Report any defects of studio and class equipment.
- Sanitize equipment used in classes and sessions.
- Maintain accurate knowledge of class and session offerings, property amenities, gym services and gym products.
- Embrace and learn to teach specialty classes only offered at Soho House.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Nationally accredited personal training certification (NASM, ACE, ISSA, NFPT, ACSM, NCSF, FM, AFAA, NSCA)
- 2+ years of experience in both group fitness and personal training.
- CPR/AED certification
- Basic verbal communication skills.
- Flexible schedule and willing to work 8+ hours a week.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands.
- Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours.
- Must be able to move, pull, carry or lift at least 100 pounds.
- Demonstrate exercises as required.
