Technical Project Manager - Buildings Automation

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Project Manager for our Building Automation division.

This role involves leading and managing various phases of projects, including detailed engineering, procurement, factory acceptance testing, site cabling, installation, and commissioning.

  • Conduct kick off meetings and Lead project meetings on site to discuss project progress.
  • Manage all phases of project including detailed Engineering, procurement, Factory Acceptance Testing, Site cabling and Installation, Site testing and commissioning.
  • Secure Acceptance and approval of materials and documents from contractor/consultant and all stake holders.
  • Lead, coordinate, and communicate with Project team, Customer, Subcontractors and vendors on various project activities.
  • Track project status reports, project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Ensure successful project close out by consultant inspections, customer training, punch list close out and establishing warranties and finally smooth handover process of project to customer.
  • Manage site installation and commissioning team.
  • Ensure full time presence on site and work under tight project timelines.
  • Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all concerned stakeholders and ensuring technical

  • University degree in Electrical/Computer or Software Engineering
  • PMP cetified
  • Master's degree is advantage
  • 8 years related work experience.
  • Experience in data centers/critical infrastructure environments.
  • Experience with construction sites and working with MEP contractors.
  • BMS System knowledge and understanding of engineering principles.
  • Knowledge of Schneider Electric, Siemens, Honeywell or other BMS platforms
  • Coordinate internal as well as external resources for the proper execution of
  • Ensure that projects are delivered on-time, within scope and budget as per the contract
  • Excellent command of written & spoken English; Arabic and French are an asset.
  • Experience in Automation and Protection Systems in Utilities and/or Oil & Gas Protection and Control Relays / Schemes,
  • Substation Automation Systems EPMS/BMS solution projects PLC, SCADA, RTU & DCS - Advantage)
  • Advanced user of MS Office applications, especially proficiency in MS project
  • Good user of SAP
  • Ability to read and understand technical
  • Effective communications skills
  • Well organized, result oriented, pro-active & a good team
  • Driving License - is
  • Willing to travel for mid to long term project assignments
  • Strong motivation and interest in learning new technologies
