Strategic Account Solution Architect - Protection, Control, Automation

Solutions Architect - Protection, Control and Automation

Remote position with up to 50% travel

As Protection, Control & Automation (PCA) Solution Architect, this person will be responsible for introducing, designing, prescribing and selling PCA products and solutions in their assigned region and account list. PCA products and solutions cover activities such as: protection relays, substation automation, Remote Terminal Units (RTUs), microgrid controls system, power management systems, and Auto Throw Over (ATO) solutions.

They will have the following responsibilities:

  • Introduce and assist with spec-in Protection, Control, Automation (PCA) products.
  • Design Protection, Control and Automation (PCA) solutions for both Microgrid and non-microgrid applications.
  • Direct Quotation teams on how to quote PCA Solutions, Project, and Eng Services.
  • Assist with technical clarification and commercial negotiations on submitted quotations/proposals.
  • Conduct presentations.
  • Perform Site Surveys.
  • Lead local and key account sales team regarding PCA scope for business development activities for respective territory and assigned accounts/segments.
  • Assist Schneider Channel Sales team for PCA scope for channel diversification on selling PCA products and solutions for respective territory.

Qualifications:
  • PCA technical experience
  • Excellent client-facing skills, ideally including some Pre-Sales or sales experience.
  • Bachelor's degree. Engineering Degree strongly preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
