Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for new Business Development via prospecting, qualifying, selling, and closing services solutions and products within a specific set of strategic accounts.
  • Sell a full range of services offers; requires consultative selling skills to promote offers including Digital Services, EcoCare, EcoFit, EcoConsult, Installation & Commissioning, Modernization/Modernization with new, Spare Parts and Critical Inventory Services, and other turn-key service solutions.
  • Manage client relationship through all phases of the sales cycle, drive best in class customer experience.
  • Engage and develop relationships with decision makers via your existing contact network and proactive initiatives.
  • Leverage existing Schneider Electric installed base and strength of the Schneider Electric Brand as well as partner with Account Reps within all Schneider Electric Business Units.
  • Responsible for orders growth and revenue targets for the targeted accounts / segment
  • Partner with the Schneider Electric's Agency Representatives supporting strategic accounts, including global field services, Strategic Account Executives, Technical Sales, Program Managers, etc. to grow the segment business and drive revenue against sales targets.
  • Solve customer problems and participate in key negotiations.
  • Assist with planning of Sales Strategy in NAM.

This job might be for you if:
  • Several years of experience in a technical field and/or a minimum of 7 years in Solutions Sales / Account Management and/or customer operations with major projects experience.
  • Knowledge of electrical distribution, automation, energy management & sustainability, solutions and services is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (Engineering and/or Business discipline)
  • Good understanding of industry-specific problems & technology
  • Existing contact network and ability to hit the ground running.
  • Influencing skills in a matrix environment - both with internal organizations & the marketplace
  • Experience and skill in working via strategic alliance or mutual client engagements with customer/partner.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Travel up to 35% domestic.
