Our Engineering Excellence Center in Bratislava is looking for motivated individuals who wish to succeed in the position of Project Application Engineer Specialist in a highly specialized team of professionals with the focus on the projects in process automation.

KEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- provide pre-project, project and post-project engineering services

- design and implement solutions based on clients requirements
- develop control application, human machine interface or safety application
- prepare project documentation
- participate in customer acceptance tests, provide on-site support
- communication with customer
- work in a team

PERSONALITY REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:

Education:
- University education (Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, Doctorate) in chemical, mechanical, IT, electrical or automation engineering
- fluent spoken and written English skills (minimum B1 level)

Technical skills:
- minimum 6 years of relevant experience in Automation control industry and/or related engineering experience in disciplines such as process, chemical, mechanical, industrial, and/or electrical engineering with end-users and/or EPCs
- MS Excel - advanced
- MS Access - advanced
- OS Windows, OS Unix/Linux (advantage),
- Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Access, one of SQL database (advantage)
- Experience with engineering/configuration tools - preferably in process automation industry
- One of programming languages at an advanced level (VB, C#, C++, Java, .net, etc.)
- Knowledge and experience with DCS/ESD systems of Schneider Electric (Foxboro, Triconex, Modicon PLC), or;
- Knowledge and experience of other DCS/ESD vendor systems (Emerson, Honeywell, ABB, Yokogawa, Siemens, Hima, etc.)
- Flexibility for working on projects and travelling on the occasional business trips to customers
- High commitment to work, proactive approach
- Team mind-set
- Valid driving license (Category B)
