For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $96,000 - $144,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.
The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The Regional Project Manager represents the Company in the procurement, negotiation, and administration of contracts for goods and services. The Regional Project Manager acts as a technical resource to provide upfront design assistance, including proposals, submittals and presentations. The Regional Project Manager has complete project responsibility from project initiation to end of warranty.
What will you do?
- Assumes full responsibility and accountability for facilitating delivery of a premium experience for every ASCO customer.
- Providing interpretation of contract provisions, screening and processing customer inquiries to insure prompt handling.
- Manages projects in matters of contractual obligations, assists engineering with required submittal data, contractual decisions, project scope definition and coordinates all information required for the design.
- Monitoring progress of work performed under the contract and preparing periodic reports and estimates of completion date.
- May participate in, negotiation of new contracts and renegotiations of existing contracts, and provide overall support.
- Provide support for all critical power solutions, with a primary focus on PCS, but also includes ATS, VATS, Load Bank PowerQuest, and coordination with CPMS.
- Coordinates Purchase order and BOM with applications to insure accurate budgets
- Provides preliminary one-line diagrams, mechanical elevations and plan views.
- Evaluates the optimal combination of acquired information and contributing data to facilitate the development of the final design.
- Coordinates a wide variety of functions within the company to provide liaison support during pre-delivery time including activities within order processing, customer relations and sales support.
- Provides single point contact for response to customer inquiries regarding status of order, investigates and resolves product, shipping, and scheduling problems.
- Informs sales function and customers of changes in product availability or delivery schedules.
- Maintains a Project list for all Assigned projects.
- Manages project milestones, project costs, commitments and Margins.
- Coordinates ASCO Power Services field tech with engineering in trouble shooting and resolving issues during startup
- Perform in an ethical and professional manner at all times.
- Must have valid driver's license and ability to travel to construction sites. May also require traversing sites for inspection purposes with contractors and during acceptance tests
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- BSEE, BSME, or equivalent will be considered
- Three (3) years direct related experience in Power Switching and Controls and Power Generation; at least Five (5) years industry experience.
- Working knowledge of control circuits, emergency power systems, related industry codes & standards.
- Thorough working knowledge of industry codes and standards.
- Outstanding organization and communication skills
- Excellent written & presentation skills
- Demonstrated proficient in scheduling, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines.
- Effective interpersonal skills. Candidate must excel at working in a team environment.
- Requires a broad knowledge of Company functions, product capabilities, manufacturing, order processing, design, jobsite experience and marketing policies.
- Advanced Computer Proficiency.
- Ability to determine appropriate measures for themselves and others to achieve the project goals
Prioritization and Co-ordination of these measures - Ability to work effectively to tight deadlines regardless of possible setbacks
- Experience and instinct for customer's respective field of activity and the hierarchical levels.
- Ability to make a good and competent impression with customer right from the first contact
- Ensures customer- oriented quality.
- Combines various disciplines to find the best solution
- Proficiency in all Microsoft applications
- Capable of using project management tools such as Microsoft Project
