The Global Procurement Services team is currently seeking a self-driven Procure to Pay (P2P) Transformation Project Manager with a passion for operational excellence to join the Global P2P Transformation Program Team. The Project Manager will lead the end-to-end procure to pay solutioning and implementation of continuous improvement changes to eliminate blocked invoices and improving our ability to pay invoices on time to our suppliers. This will require robust root cause analysis coupled with deep understanding across the processes, technology, data and organization to translate findings into measurable results. The Project Manager will work along with key business partners to transform the procure to pay across the North America Region, making sure the expected business results are achieved in a timely fashion. This position will also work together with Schneider Digital, P2P BPO team members, Internal Control, Supply Chain, Procurement and Suppliers to ensure the right collaboration and business decisions are being taken, to achieve sustainable results. This position will be located in Monterrey, Mexico and reports directly to the Global Director, P2P Transformation.

What will you do:

• Lead a project portfolio of continuous improvement initiatives for Procure to Pay across North America.

• Develop, influence, lead and execute continuous improvement projects in a cross-functional environment aligned to the North America region strategy. Initiatives include value engineering changes, supplier performance management, payment terms improvements, organization ways of working, and securing adoption of users to the target core model.

• Project management of highly complex business challenges in Procure to Pay, to include project timeline, key deliverables, resource requirements, risks & issues, and monitoring/reporting out of progress to key stakeholders and leadership.

• Lead the solutioning of complex business challenges within Procure to Pay in the areas of blocked invoices and late paid invoices, leveraging lean principles, root cause analysis framework, and value stream mapping to ensure the root cause of the business pain points are clearly understood and the right fix is successfully implemented.

• Successfully execute complex plans utilizing change management methodology, define the structure, support and direction for change, anticipate the impact of change and act accordingly, leveraging key stakeholders as needed.

• Ability to successfully pilot a project from beginning to end, including prioritizing, planning, resolving issues, and displaying a persistent drive for results. Based on results, prepare for fully scope roll-out.

• Project Tracking. Ensure day-to-day follow up to country projects. Set pace to review progress. Provide direction and request action plans when dates are slipping. Apply PM best practices.

• Risk Management. Identify and classify the risks associated at a country level. Propose elimination, mitigation or contention plans.

• Establish relationships with key stakeholders and leaders and lead executive presentations with senior leadership. Communication of results and accountable for project execution outcomes and expected impact.

• Ensure coordination between all project stakeholders (Procurement, Global Supply Chain, Finance, AP, Schneider Digital & local business) for the project execution and success.

• Review weekly and monthly golden KPIs (Blocked Invoice Reduction; Paid On Time, Compliant Spend) to ensure impact of changes is recognized in the reporting.

• Maintain accurate delivery information.

• Consistently meet the deadlines as defined in delivery schedule.

• Arbitrate in case of escalation.

• Manage the user acceptance tests.

• Perform lessons learn.

Qualifications

What will help you to be successful in this role:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply chain, Logistics, Information Systems, Business, Accounting or Engineering. MBA preferred.
  • +8 years of experience in Project Management (Global Projects)
  • Global scope and complex project management experience.
  • • Project management & agile methods experience and expertise
  • • Recognized as a decision maker and as leader, self-motivated
  • • Communication skills & creative thinking
  • • Networking and ability to connect with Directors and VPs
  • • Process and technology oriented, background in Information Systems.
  • • PMP certification is a plus.
  • • Travel availability, 30% of time (across NAM) - Visa & Passport
  • • Advanced English (Spanish native or fluent)
