We are looking for Web Engineer to develop platform, features, tools for Pro-face website.
Job Description:
• We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Web developer to join our team.
• You will contribute to the development of a product information management tool and interfaces between different systems that contain product data.

Main objective of this role:
• Externally for Customers to improve product data consistency, reduce Customer search time.
• Internally for our team to reduce operation time and risk of human errors.
• Deliverable would be an efficient product management online tool and the integration of different Schneider-Electric data sources into our existing platform.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Collaborate with other team to understand requirements and design specifications for the product information management tool.
- Develop, test, and deploy the tool using appropriate programming languages and technologies.
- Create interfaces and integration solutions between various systems to ensure seamless flow of product data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and quality assurance, to ensure the tool meets the desired functionality and performance standards.
- Troubleshoot and debug any issues that arise during the development and implementation process.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate the latest advancements into the tool.
Qualifications
Qualifications (Skills/ Personal Qualities):
This position requires 3 to 6 months commitment (2~4 days a week)
Essential (Must have)
- Oral and written communication and presentation skills in English
- Currently pursuing or having a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, or eager to learn them independently
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, fast learner
- Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Self-motivated
- Ability to foresee and communicate potential problems proactively
- Ability to work effectively across team members, departments, cultures, and geographies
Desirable (Nice to have)
- Knowledge of databases (e.g. MySQL).
- Knowledge of computer networks (ip networks, firewall, routing, web and mail servers)
- Experience with APIs
- Experience with CMS (Drupal, Wordpress, ...)
- Strong ability to coordinate, prioritize and get results
- Enjoy establishing good working relationships and international contacts
- Oral and written communication and presentation skills in Japanese
- Excellent time management
