Data Center Sales Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth for the Digital Buildings National Strategic Accounts organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, as well as a strong background in sales management and team leadership. The Sales Manager will be responsible for setting sales goals, developing sales strategies, and managing a team of sales representatives. The primary focus of this role will be to lead the growth of our business in the Data Center vertical market.

What will you do?

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
  • Lead and manage a team of sales representatives, providing coaching, guidance, and training as needed
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders to increase sales opportunities
  • Conduct market research to identify potential new customers and opportunities for growth
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, offer management, and other business units, to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business objectives
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to sales activities
  • Understand and implement sales compensation plans to appropriately incentivize sales individuals
  • Manage cross-business unit engagement within Schneider to position salespeople for success

What qualifications will make you successful?
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or sales management, preferably in a B2B sales environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical mindset and ability to analyze sales data and identify trends
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
