About the Role:

As the Regional Sales Director for Tableau, you will lead and develop a team of motivated Account Executives to deliver outstanding results in the Australian market. You'll actively participate in client and prospect engagements, collaborate across internal teams, and ensure your team consistently achieves and exceeds targets. In this leadership role, you'll recruit, mentor, and guide your team to succeed while maintaining a strategic vision for growth in the region.

Your Impact:
Your leadership will directly shape the success of Tableau within Salesforce's broader public sector and enterprise strategy. You'll foster an environment where individuals and teams thrive, deliver measurable results, and drive transformative solutions for customers across Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Recruit, support, and develop a collaborative sales team, fostering a culture of growth and achievement.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales campaigns that align with Tableau's go-to-market strategy.
  • Client Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor, engaging with C-level stakeholders to understand challenges and position Tableau as a critical solution.
  • Mentorship and Coaching: Provide guidance to team members, helping them build client strategies and achieve professional growth.
  • Forecasting and Reporting: Monitor sales activities, evaluate team performance, and report progress to senior leadership.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Solution Engineers, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to create exceptional customer experiences.
  • Demand Generation: Lead initiatives to create market awareness and generate new opportunities within the Australian region.
  • Customer Advocacy: Address complex client concerns, fostering long-term partnerships and customer satisfaction.

About You:

  • Proven experience leading quota-carrying sales professionals, with a track record of team success.
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire, guide, and support a team to achieve shared goals.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Passion for data analytics and its potential to transform organisations.
  • A collaborative mindset and commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable work environment.
  • Experience working with enterprise and public sector organisations in Australia is highly desirable.
