We are looking for a Senior Analyst, Procurement to manage key supplier relationships and oversee the procurement process for a specific commodity. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining quality standards, and managing costs. You will play a critical part in driving procurement strategies, preparing RFPs, conducting negotiations, and collaborating across teams to support business objectives. What YOU Will Do:
- Responsible for all aspects of the relationship with a specific supplier within a commodity
- Directs and manages all schedules, and purchase orders for the client account or the product family
- Ensures product is delivered on time, meets quality standards, and at the right cost. May perform delivery assurance responsibilities
- Carries out processes and standards in support of Procurement, including RFPs, negotiations, cost accountability, program execution
- Prepares purchase orders and payment approvals to ensure the procurement process goes smoothly
- Responds to client inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations to ensure customer satisfaction
- Works with buyers in activities associated with purchasing goods, materials, supplies, and services
- Contacts suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries to ensure resolution of problems such as shortages and missed or late deliveries
- Compiles records of items purchased, costs, deliveries, product performance, and inventories, analyzes data and ensures account needs are met
- Monitors contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations
- And other related duties as needed per direction from leadership
- Could participate in bids and proposal efforts
- Must be able to travel 10%-15%

Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience oran Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience

Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience working in a highly matrixed organization
- Project coordination / management experience
- Experience working with ERP systems (e.g. SAP)
- Proficient in MS Office skills
- Experience working in a cross-functional team, such as including members from operations/production, technical/engineering groups, finance departments, etc
- Detail oriented with ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to define problems, to collect data, to establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to become a go-to subject matter expert for transactional buyers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
