What You Will Do

  • Partner with site leadership to ensure development of robust financial plans and drive performance to meet those goals through targeted objectives based on strong financial and operational analysis.
  • Influence business investment decisions by analyzing impacts to Collins financials and strategic initiatives.
  • Performs economic research and studies of rates of return, depreciation and investments.
  • Provide technical and analytical guidance to site controllers and their teams on key metrics, deliverables, reporting requirements and ad-hoc analysis.
  • Build finance capabilities, tools and skills at the sites to increase efficiency and value of the Finance team across the business.
  • Consolidate, analyze and communicate financial and operational performance for Site Operations.
  • Identify variances, drivers and areas of risk/opportunity.
  • Generates forecasts and analyzes trends in Sites inventory, productivity, and other areas of business operations for financial and strategic planning purposes.
  • Ensure operational and financial alignment at the sites that support short and long term goals.
  • Provide recommendations and guidance so that the site drives initiatives (Productivity Improvement Plans, investments, hiring, etc.) that provide the most benefits to operational and financial goals.
  • Support key reporting and reviews with senior management.
  • Prepare deliverables that provide insight and enable decision making.
  • Provide internal controls oversight and guide sites through Operations related controls and activities and audits.
  • Monitor site compliance with internal controls and facilitate remediation of breakdowns, as required.
  • Requires strong management and leadership skillset to drive cross functional project teams and engage across various internal functional customers.

  • Gain valuable experience in financial planning and operational strategy, partnering closely with site leadership to develop and execute robust financial plans
  • Drive initiatives that align productivity improvements and investments with both operational and financial objectives, while developing strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
