Job Summary:
The Effectors Center within Systems Integration & Test seeks talented Systems Engineers. Our Effectors team located in Tucson, AZ integrate hardware and software, develop test plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, and verify system requirements in support of final sell-off to the customer. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. Every day is a different set of challenges to overcome. You'll be expected to collaborate across disciplines and partner to implement solutions. In this role, you'll get to know a little bit about every aspect of the system and have a direct hand in making it all work together supporting teams of engineers engaged in integration and test efforts.

This position is an onsite role in Tucson, AZ. Test event support activity may require travel which is not expected to exceed 15%.
What You Will Do:
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team
- Operate our systems, as well as related simulators/stimulators
- Identify and resolve issues and anomalies through debugging/troubleshooting and data analysis
- Integrate hardware or software into a tactical system, and evaluate the functionality and impact of these changes
- Develop integration documentation, execute plans and procedures, process and analyze data, and communicate results
- Communicate with internal and/or external stakeholders
- Travel to support mission execution at applicable facility, test site, vendor, and/or customer location
What You Will Learn:
After completion of comprehensive on-the-job training, the candidate will be a part of a team supporting Systems Integration & Test activities across the product development lifecycle.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
- This position requires 12 months or less of professional experience (excluding internships)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Experience with tools, such as MATLAB or Python, for data analysis and automation
- Experience with troubleshooting technical issues with electronics in an academic or internship setting, including the use of common commercial test equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, etc.)
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience with or exposure to various military platforms for weapons conveyance, such as ships, ground combat systems, fixed and rotary wing aircraft
- Experience with using telemetry data collection equipment to capture real time data and/or real time monitoring
- Experience with electrical schematics, interface control documentation, and communications protocols
- Experience with reading and integrating software routines with hardware/electronics; C/C++/C# preferred
- Experience with instrumentation and collection of large data sets, including the application of scripting or automation to data collection and analysis

The salary range for this role is 53,000 USD - 103,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
