Position Summary

This position is responsible for representing company to the central government to shape operating environment, form collaborations to advance strategic business objectives, and enhance company reputation. The role also involves building and maintaining effective relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure that government engagement makes measurable impact in advancing business objectives. Three positions are available.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of comoany central government affairs strategy in support of business objectives.
  • Increase reputation among central government stakeholders through effective stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
  • Advocate for a favorable operating environment for the pharmaceutical industry and, as appropriate, access to medicines and vaccines.
  • Act as the main point of contact for relevant government agencies and provide the business with regular updates on their work priorities and development trends.
  • Work with RDPAC and other chambers/associations to support advocacy efforts, as directed.
  • Implement projects, as directed, to support advocacy efforts.
  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships, including with Market Access, Marketing, Regulatory, Key Account Management and fellow Corporate Affairs colleagues.
  • Help to build a team culture that reflects Pfizer's values: courage, equity, excellence, and joy.

Qualifications

  • Holds a bachelor's degree (or above) in medicine, pharmacy, public health, public administration, management or another relevant field.
  • Has 5+ years of experience working in the pharmaceutical industry. Experience working in a multinational company is preferable.
  • Understands central government institutions, networks and policy-making processes, particularly those related to the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Can establish and maintain effective partnerships with government and other key stakeholders.
  • Has effective advocacy and communication skills. Is fluent in Mandarin and English.
  • Has good problem-solving and project management skills; is results-orientated.
  • Is a team player.
