The Role:
"Role expects candidate to reside near an airport hub to accommodate travel requirements."
This position will be part of the Auditing function of the Quality and Food Safety team and will lead and guide the quality and food safety performance agenda for internal manufacturing sites and contract manufacturing sites through the auditing process. The selected candidate must have the ability to identify key quality and food safety trends, implement and maintain data management strategies, work with cross-functional team members to provide data analyses with action plans and improve quality and food safety performance.
Responsibilities
- Scheduling and Conducting the scored Quality Audit Systems (QAS) annually for internal and contract manufacturing facilities
- Reviewing audit program results and develop trends and support action planning
- Update the QAS annually based on audit findings and changing priorities and risk assessments and global direction
- Preparing and distributing management reports for the audits and specific program details as required
- Supporting the business with ad hoc Quality and Food Safety project needs
- Ability to collaborate and influence in Quality and Food Safety requirements
- Partner with regional Quality and Food Safety Managers to support manufacturing sites when necessary
- Ability to train field Quality Food Safety managers in the QAS programs
- Liaison between field manufacturing, R&D, QA, and HQ auditing group
Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $72,500 - $121,300.
- Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
- Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually.
- Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
- BS/BA required (Food Science, chemical engineering or chemistry preferred)
- Willing to travel 30-60% and valid passport
- Quality and Food Safety background in field manufacturing and good understanding of basic quality and food safety programs
- Auditing experience preferred
- Strong interest/affinity and focus on effective systematic problem solving
- Sound knowledge of PC operating systems and basic computer network skills
- Analytical mindset and strong drive to resolve open issues
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong statistical analysis skills to evaluate key metric performance
- Demonstrated ability to identify critical data and develop corrective actions to resolve issues
- Demonstrated self-starter with ability to manage numerous activities
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external customers
- Ability to communicate effectively and influence senior leadership
