NVIDIA Energy Industry sales team is seeking an account manager to serve our energy organizations. At NVIDIA, we are seeking a high-energy and expert sales professional with a validated successful track record of leading enterprise accounts in oil & gas. This full-time position requires close working relationships with NVIDIA solution architects, business development leaders, and developer relations, to drive revenue through NVIDIA platform adoption. This role requires a validated understanding of the enterprise business landscape and the energy industry. This person should have the ability to shift easily from working with senior level executives and strategy decision makers to data scientists and IT leaders at customers and prospects! This is a hunter role and requires cold calling and connections with prospective users.

What you'll be doing:
You will be responsible for all aspects of strategy creation and implementation, prospecting, forecasting, sales account management, training, and education to a select number of enterprise customers.
- Be the key point of contact and relationship owner for a defined set of energy organizations
- Grow NVIDIA presence across data science, line of business, and IT organizations
- Build key accounts into strategic partners, and drive sustaining revenue, market share growth and product footprint
- Work closely with cloud, OEM, and GSI ecosystem partners to build and complete a go-to-market plan to accelerate growth and adoption of the Nvidia enterprise product family
- With strong executive presence, polish, and political savvy drive technical and executive engagement, pushing feedback into NVIDIA product and field engagement leadership
- Contribute to the long term success of our team by being a collaborative leader amongst your peers. Consistently striving to learn, improve, and reinvent yourself
- Promote the use of NVIDIA's accelerated computing platform to your customers, prospects, and partners
- Ability to travel as needed
What we need to see:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 12+ years overall experience with 3 to 5 years' experience selling solutions to energy customers
- A passion for getting things done in a sales and technology environment
- Demonstrated track record leading significant revenue and overachieving targets to meet stretch goals
- Must be based in Houston, Texas
- Demonstrated track record of prospect development thru internet, workshops, cold calling, etc.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
- Understanding of data science workflows and AI trends
- A strong interest in understanding new technologies and adept at conveying their value to business executives and software development leaders
- Excellent communication skills and ability to persuade -- using simple communications that convey sophisticated concepts in a compelling, concise, and creative way
- Proven prospecting techniques and a desire to build new businesses

The cash compensation range is 196,000 USD - 299,000 USD, with 85% paid through base salary and 15% variable compensation. Your cash compensation will be determined based on your location, experience and the pay of employees in similar positions.
You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
