The Lead, Digital Marketing Professional - India, will report to the Director, Digital Marketing Southeast Asia & India (SEA&I) and partner closely with the Brand Marketing and Digital Commerce teams in India and the Digital Marketing teams in Singapore SEA&I Office. This role will collaborate with teammates across Nike to build more effective and efficient ways to inspire and connect with athletes*. Specifically, this role will collaborate and partner with the following key internal and external stakeholders to build integrated marketing plans: Digital Marketing, Brand Management, Digital Commerce, Brand Creative, Integrated Media, Energy Marketing, Product & Merchandising, Retail Marketing, Finance & Procurement, Agency & Production partners within India and across SEA&I and Asia Pacific & Latin America (APLA).

As the Lead, Digital Marketing Professional in India, you are a Digital Marketer with a strong understanding of the consumer, their lifestyle, and how they shop online. You are able to support Brand and Business objectives, connecting our members with the innovation, experiences and stories that position Nike as an industry leading sport and lifestyle brand. You are a team player and a go-getter, curious and eager to innovate, to test & fail and learn & evolve. You value the importance of data and consumer insights and appreciate the creative process. You understand marketing technology, the role of O2O, digital direct-to-consumer channels, and you are always ready to be a thought partner, a digital evangelist, and a consumer advocate.
In this role you will be responsible for driving the Digital Marketing strategy to transform our brand into the most sophisticated, athlete focused, digital brand in India. You will bring best-in-class brand and commerce experiences to life for the consumer, working as part of the Marketing team in an integrated Consumer Marketplace offense.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Brand Marketing or Digital Marketing.
- Passion for sport - whether you're a seasoned athlete, just starting out or being a fan of it.
- Understanding of the digital and social landscape, user experience and our digital platforms.
- Experience working with Digital Marketplace Platforms and Brand sites.
- Experience working with marketing analytics, deriving actionable insights and applying learnings.
- Ability to drive a culture of always-on testing and learning, including the rapid application of consumer signals into strategy, planning, and content iteration.
- Team player with experience working collaboratively and effectively in a matrix organization.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with proven ability to juggle between the details and big picture, manage multiple and competing projects and priorities.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly and work in a constantly evolving environment, making judgment calls and shifts as needed.
- Ability to thrive within a fast-paced, high energy, skilled team of marketers that have a passion for sport and culture and creating meaningful connections between consumers and the Nike brand.
- Advocate for India consumers, sharing consumer behaviors, insights and digital norms.
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint or Apple Keynote and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written proficiency in English.
WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
In this role, you will -
- Focus on key projects that build consumer experiences that accelerate brand engagement and business growth opportunities internally and externally for the Nike Brand.
- Serve as an integral member of the SEA&I Digital Marketing team, India Brand Marketing, India Nike Direct Digital Commerce team (NDDC), and overall Territory Marketing team to support and implement an accelerated digital offense to establish a Nike brand voice, vision and strategy across marketplace platforms.
- Build and Drive Nike India Digital & Social Strategy.
- Drive Digital Marketing campaigns and day-to-day operations across the India digital ecosystem.
- Become a subject matter expert of the digital and social ecosystem in India providing deep knowledge of the digital capabilities to maximize marketing reach and engagement digitally.
- Become a subject matter expert of the digital marketplace platforms in India providing deep knowledge of the digital capabilities to maximize the channel to elevate the consumer brand experience and in future drive connected member engagement and retention.
- Be the brand representative and liaison with both internal & external partners to ensure aligned vision and strategy on how Nike shows up in each individual platform. Collaborate & inform.
- Serve as the Digital Marketing lead for platform upgrades and expansion to ensure a robust digital marketing offense.
- Lead and create premium and impactful digital experience and journeys, not limited to traditional ones, also constantly explore and pilot new ways of digital marketing relevant to each digital marketplace platform.
- Lead the seasonal planning, digital store management, content ideation & development, needs and distribution across various platform ecosystems.
- Lead and strategize platforms' seasonal plans in partnership with Brand & NDDC to plan on platform key moments and products. Co-develop platform strategies and agreements, search and brand ads/events.
- Collaborate, direct and provide all brand approvals to third party agency partners.
- Drive the digital offense against quantifiable outcomes and KPIs with accountability to Brand and Business.
- Operationalize digital marketing capability use cases and best practices informed by data insights & analytics to drive efficiency, consistency, and effectiveness.
- Facilitate feedback, communicate successes, and share learnings to drive team growth and continuous improvement.
