The People Privacy Program Manager will join the People Risk, Privacy, Compliance (PRPC) team to work across our key partners leading privacy risk initiatives to scale our global People Privacy Program. Specifically, the People Data Review Program Manager will be responsible for executing and overseeing our Data Subject Rights Program, as well as support privacy training, certification and audit activities. The ideal person will have proven domain expertise in privacy as well as operations and program management skills. They should be a systems thinker with experience leading complex and highly matrixed privacy and risk operations initiatives.
People Privacy Program Manager Responsibilities:
- Execute data subject rights across multiple jurisdictions continuously improving workflow.
- Collaborate with key Legal, Privacy and HR business program and product owners define program requirements, set priorities, and establish scope which includes defining the roadmap and long-term strategy of the teams and respective leadership.
- Manage cross functional dependencies, risks, and changes effectively by optimizing scope, schedule, and resources accordingly.
- Develop and own communication of program status, issues, and risks effectively and proactively with stakeholders.
- Define and track key metrics and key quality and performance indicators and drive cross functional execution of program deliverables.
- Drive internal and external process improvements across multiple teams and functions including reducing the manual efforts through automation.
- Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and ensure HR Compliance is not compromised.
- Manage relationships both internal and external to Meta People organization.
- Exercise excellent people skills, be a team player with a bias to action.
- Be motivated by the opportunity to solve complex HR risk problems within an operations environment.

- Qualification in privacy or data protection with practical experience operationalizing privacy regulations at scale
- A minimum of 6 years of experience designing and implementing from zero to one risk programs that impact security, privacy, or employment compliance.
- Experience with workflow optimization using data analysis
- Experience partnering with product, legal, engineering teams to deliver effective compliance programs.
- JD or MBA
- Second line of defense risk management or internal audit experience within a Tech company
