The Opportunity:
The role reports to the Category lead and works in partnership with digital, sales, customer marketing, Consumer product team collaborating as one team to support each other to achieve our aligned goals and vision.
The Assistant Brand Manager for Games will be responsible for Brand results in terms of Revenues, Profits, Market Shares supporting the Category Lead in driving demand creation across the marketing funnel to drive purchase intent, and special brand project results in terms of image indicators and In-Store Implementations within the Italian Market.
Main Responsibilities:
- Being the business owner for your brands.
- Develop deep expertise of the category, retail dynamics and shopper behavior to drive opportunities.
- Design and execute local marketing plans in line with global strategies and priorities.
- Drive portfolio strategies, pricing and product forecasting.
- Manage A&P budget for your brand.
- Execute media strategies and plans.
- Monitoring business results and effectiveness of initiatives. Take actions when necessary.
What Your Impact Will Be:
- Brand Plans & Execution:
- Definition and implementation of the marketing plan for his Brands, according to corporate strategies and within the Marketing Manager guidelines.
- Ensure best effective and impactful amplifications & implementations of Brand strategies and action plans in the country.
- Maintain constant communication with BU Lead and Regional Marketing team to share expertise of the local market as well as identify synergies, alignment, best practices, and opportunities within the country.
- Line & Product management:
- Support for line selection and pricing, following regional & lead guidelines, and quotas in conjunction with sales (P&L, margin, forecasting).
- Participate in S&OP process: drive quotas hypothesis, lead forecasting direction for the portfolio, Align with sales team & planner. Monitor results.
- Manage product information, validate translations and localization of creative assets.
- Media Management:
- Participate in agency briefs, Manage local agencies for the execution of brand marketing activities across all different media channels.
- Team up with the Media team for the implementation of the media campaigns across different channels.
- Franchise execution:
- Partner closely with Regional Brand Marketing and Communication teams, with local Sales, Consumer Products and local partners to drive sales, revenue and market share.
- Support the execution of brand retail activation plans, by collaborating with the Consumer Product team (merchandizing strategies / planograms, tent poles and promotions, POP).
- Coordinate licensors relationship thru main touch points and portfolio coordination.
- Contribute to driving customer engagement through presentations of product lines, brand plans, ad- hoc presentations to local Sales teams and key local customers.
- Participating in the management of the Advertisement and Promotion Budget.
- Continuously track and evaluate the performance of your efforts (Sell in / Sell out / Media), and if necessary, adapt your strategy for the future.
- Track and evaluate business results and effectiveness of initiatives and propose actions when necessary.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
- University degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration or any other related field (Bachelor/ Master/ Diploma).
- Commercial/marketing experience within Brand Marketing in Toys, FMCG or licensed consumer goods.
- Strong analytical skills & good Digital expertise.
- Result oriented, winning mentality, competitive, strong will to succeed.
- Strategic thinking and tactic skills / Design action plans that can be easily applied.
- Creative and high initiative.
- Proactive in seeking information.
- Ability to work in wide variety of projects with deadlines.
- Exceptional problem solving & analytical ability and a high level of organizational and time management skills.
- Build strong and effective relationships with a large number of stakeholders.
- Positive attitude, will-do-can-do
- Strong influencing skills.
- Native level of Italian is a must. Fluent in written and spoken English.
