Description and Requirements
Who You'll Work With
As a PC Specialist, you sell the full PC portfolio and responsible for delivering net new account wins and expanding existing customer footprint across Atlantic Canada. You drive both revenue and profit while positioning our company for continued growth and success. You champion the innovative power of our products to set our large enterprise customers up for success, making them more productive, collaborative, and transformative. You understand Lenovo's portfolio of award-winning products and develop strategies to help new and existing enterprise customers find and implement the best solutions. Within each account, you will have responsibility for selling solutions from our Intelligent Device portfolio.
This is a client-facing, retention & development or acquisition sales role requiring deep industry experience, the ability to identify, cultivate, and close net new business, and expertise in working complex solution deals at the C level. We are looking for a seasoned seller who possess extensive PC hardware and solution technology sales experience with a passion to take their career, and the territory, to the next level. The position is based in territory/Lenovo office, Travel required (35 - 50%)
What You'll Do:
- Handle the configuration, pricing, negotiation and quotation of sales solutions while also providing proactive follow-up, product information and general account support both remotely and in person
- Actively participate in corporate initiatives such as weekly forecasting and opportunity management
- Cold calling prospective campaigns (up to 4 hours per day)
- Work with the Client Manager, identify, develop, and close new opportunities within the territory across all Enterprise/PS segments.
- Achieve revenue and profitability objectives for Lenovo while driving growth across multiple product sets.
- Collaborate with Client Manager to develop, implement, and execute an effective sales strategy to achieve sales goal
- Effectively collaborate with Client Manager and Overlay Teams, ensuring a coordinated sales effort
- Responsible for the day-to-day device focused sales motion within territory
- Develop Director level relationships and serve as a trusted consultant to customers
- Understand and adapt to Lenovo's ongoing product and services developments
- Ensure that our customers receive world-class sales and customer service
- Effectively and consistently maintain pipeline hygiene and management of tools to track key sales metrics and consistently meet those metrics while delivering Operational Excellence.
Basic Qualifications
- BA/BS degree or equivalent professional work experience.
- 5+ years of professional hybrid sales experience in a technology or IT-related field.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
- Prior experience in a sales role with quotas.
- Pipeline Management
- Ability to meet customers face to face in the Atlantic Canada Region.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong ability to identify, acquire, and manage opportunities.
- Familiarity with the IT industry and experience with computer-based programs.
- Proficient in learning and presenting hardware portfolios.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Prospecting and Acquisition experience.
- Knowledge of the Public Sector in Atlantic Canada Region.
- Bilingual (French and English) would be an asset.
