Assists in the supervision of the day to day operation of the Logistics department. Helps to lead the team in daily processes and procedures, encourages and engages in process and service level improvements in addition to other duties as assigned including but not limited to:
Compensation Grade: M1
Pay Range: Yearly Salary
Work Schedule Monday - Friday (10:00 am- 7:00 pm); Must be flexible to cover all shifts and be available to cover weekends as needed.

Job Responsibilities
- RoadNet coordinating - creates new routes, optimizes routes, general system updates for current RoadNet data.
- Assigns new accounts to routes and notify drivers of changes
- Pushes routes to mobile devices and assign Service Reps daily
- Pulls RoadNet reports daily and investigate end of day depot failures
- Investigates missed pickups and client concerns
- Keeps driver route sheets updated with any changes and current information
- Covers routes when necessary and performs ride along QA checks
- Insures driver's phones are operational, maintains phone inventory with sufficient back up devices
- Participates in new hire training and assist management with driver module training assignments
- Performs and coordinates routes for backup drivers and 3rd party drivers as needed
- Supervision of offsite processors and account systems.
- Performs dispatch functions including will call assignments
- Supports Fleet maintenance and maintain Service Rep credentials
- Performs administrative duties and other tasks as needed
- Oversee the daily operational activities of the Reference Test Clerks while implementing operational improvements to increase client satisfaction, quality performance, and operation efficiency.
- Provide leadership to all department team members and promote a positive environment.
- Mentors and provides necessary tools for team success.
- Resolves client inquiries and operational issues in a timely manner by consulting with the Manager.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Associates or Bachelor's degree is preferred
- 3 years previous relevant experience required; preferably in clinical laboratory or logistics
- Previous leadership or managerial experience is preferred
- Ability to motivate and develop team members
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in MicrosoftS
- Basic understanding of managing costs and an overall budget
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Relevant experience in Sales Force, LCLS, SIS, Cerner and LCA software applications is preferred and taken in consideration when hiring.
- Ability to effectively communicate with various levels within an organization
- Excellent critical thinking and problem resolution skills
- Must have a Valid Driver's License, clean driving record and be at least 21 years' old
- Ability to handle the physical demands of the position
- Comfortable with handling laboratory specimens when needed
