POSITION OVERVIEW:
Our Distribution Center is the backbone of Kendra Scott, and we are looking for a process-driven individual to step into an exciting, fast-paced role. Reporting to the Distribution Operations Manager, the Distribution Operations Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the team by helping plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of projects aimed at optimizing distribution operations and improving processes. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, tracking project progress, analyzing data, and ensuring that initiatives are completed on time and within scope. It is designed for individuals who are eager to develop strong project management skills, gain hands-on experience in operational excellence, and work alongside experienced professionals in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Key Accountabilities:
- Assist in the planning, organization, and coordination of projects to support company objectives
- Learn and apply Lean/Six Sigma principles to support process improvement across operations
- Collect, track, and summarize operations and project-related data to support decision-making
- Aim to provide "WOW Customer Experiences" by collaborating with internal and external teams to support smooth project execution
- Assist in maintaining project documentation, updating reports, and preparing leadership updates
- Recognize potential risks and help identify solutions to address operational challenges
- Develop proficiency in project management and operational tools, such as Smartsheet, Excel, Power BI, Lucid Chart, WMS software, and emerging RFID technologies
- Support the implementation of new processes and technologies to enhance operations
- Help identify compliance with policies, safety regulations, and best practices
- Maintain confidentiality regarding new initiatives, launches, or business relationships

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
- Exceptional written, verbal, and professional communication skills
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- A proven ability to execute with consistent delivery
- Proficient computer skills (MS Office in particular)
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Strong communication skills with a problem-solving attitude
- A growth mindset: desire to learn, grow and embrace new ideas
