Job summary

As a Domestic Clearing Lead in the Operations team, you will be managing a team of around 12-15 team members. Responsible for the smooth functioning of the Domestic Payment function, ensuring smooth rollout of new products and driving automation agenda. There should be Strong commitment to providing high standards of controls and compliance.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Cash operations with limited activities around FX and Trade Operations, Local and Cross Border Remittance operations and Client Service.
  • Have strong product knowledge and process knowledge of SWIFT, NEFT/RTGS, Liquidity, Cheques, NACH, IMPS, UPI and related local regulations.
  • Have knowledge and experience of handling Liquidity product- Deposits, current account, Overdraft and Local Clearing.
  • Have experience and skill for vendor management and partner banks management
  • Have strong knowledge in CTS clearing and cash process ( pickup and Delivery), Cash Management Services - collection/ payment/ MIS
  • Have experience and knowledge of various tax payments i.e. Direct and Indirect taxes, excise duty and custom duty payments
  • Responsible for team management, servicing customers, handling escalations, complaints and requirements of customers via client meeting .
  • Responsible for Customized Client Solutions & RFP Engagement and Engagement in New product roll-outs
  • Responsible for implementation and compliance with clearing house regulations and bank policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for maintaining Risk & Controls, internal and external audits
  • Have strong Stakeholder Management and excellent communication skills

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skill

  • Post Graduate/CA/MBA
  • 12+ years of experience in Cash Management Operations in Bank.
  • Understanding of Local Regulatory guidelines.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills - verbal and written
