As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial and Investment Bank as a part of the Digital Platform Services team, you will play a pivotal role in an agile team. Your contributions will be essential in the design and delivery of innovative, reliable technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. Your responsibilities will encompass the implementation of critical technology solutions across various technical domains within different business functions, all aimed at bolstering the firm's business objectives.

Job responsibilities

  • Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
  • Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems
  • Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development
  • Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems
  • Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture
  • Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies
  • Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience
  • Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines.
  • Solid understanding of all Adobe Experience Manager(AEM) building blocks, foundational concepts and core frameworks including templates, components, clientlibs, widgets, AEM development and deployment process.
  • Experience in Java Content Repository (API) suite, Apache Sling web framework, Apache Felix OSGi framework and Workflows is required.
  • Strong Java, J2EE and web development (HTML, JS, CSS, jQuery, Bootstrap, etc.) background with experience in building cutting edge web & responsive applications.
  • Experience in developing web pages using HTML/HTML5, XML, DHTML, JavaScript, jQuery, React JS, Redux, Ajax, LESS or SASS styling and experience in building cutting edge front-end technologies & responsive applications.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
  • Experience with Adobe Target, Marketo and Adobe Analytics will be an added advantage.
  • Exposure to cloud technologies
