As a Governance & Strategy VP - Firmwide Tech Resiliency within the Firmwide Technology Resiliency organization, you will be tasked with ensuring the Firm's technology estate can maintain effective operations and support the ongoing, critical functioning of Essential Business Services in the face of today's evolving threat landscape. You will work closely with the firm's most senior technology, cybersecurity, and business leaders to pinpoint areas of emerging risk, promote development of new controls, processes, & tooling, and ultimately build both medium & long-term strategy to chart the course for the FTR organization and ensure ongoing delivery across the Firm.

In this role you will work within the Governance, Strategy & Transformation team for Firmwide Technology Resiliency, interfacing closely with the firm's most senior technology, cybersecurity, and business leaders to pinpoint areas of emerging risk, drive development of new controls, processes, & tooling, and ultimately build both medium & long-term strategy to chart the course for the FTR organization and ensure ongoing delivery across the Firm.

Job responsibilities

  • Point of Contact for EMA Specific Technology Resiliency issues. Drive Engagement & Consultation within Region
  • Provide oversight and input to local regulatory inspections, 2nd Line & Audit
  • Support identification of local jurisdictional requirements and address gaps in JPMC's controls framework (in collaboration with key stakeholders)
  • Facilitate Assurance & oversight of resilience metrics and jurisdictional requirements across LOB Technology teams in region
  • Drive assurance engagements and goals through regional working groups with key stakeholders across FTR, 3rd party assurance and LOB Leads
  • Support Regional regulatory advocacy engagement on regulatory change to proactively shape the evolving tech & regulatory landscape
  • Engage with key stakeholders (e.g., CTC Reg Engagement Management, Senior Technology Officer, ISMs and LOBs) to prepare appropriate responses for submissions, facilitate remediation of identified control gaps
  • Support Regulatory inspections and audit responses for risk area scope i.e. control design requirements
  • Retain oversight of existing and emerging resilience risks within region while remaining aligned to a consistent global view

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Preferred BS/MS degree in Information Technology, Operational Resilience, Information Assurance, Cybersecurity, and/or Banking/Finance (equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree) with professional work experience
  • Demonstrated Experience across Business and Technology Resiliency, Operations, and Strategy
  • Experience formulating executive, easily digestible content and driving clear governance
  • Keen ability to assess emerging risks & vulnerabilities and synthesize outcomes into clear messaging for executive leadership that drives actions and accountability
  • Experience of presenting in front of senior leadership
  • Experience working across multiple, parallel, complex engagements collaboratively with a diverse set of stakeholders, subject matter experts, and senior leaders to build requirements and execute across a core set of defined milestones
  • Familiarity with how key international financial systems operate, to include an understanding of the current threat landscape, operational resiliency regulations, and possible systemic risk scenarios.
  • Excellent writing skills and ability to communicate effectively. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and related technologies.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Background in metrics development, risk analysis & visualization, and automation is a plus
