As a Data Strategy and Governance Lead in our FRRA team, you will spend each day defining, refining, and delivering data management and governance strategies for our firm.
Job Responsibilities:
- Define roles and responsibilities for Information Owners and develop a comprehensive data strategy to manage data movements effectively.
- Collaborate with Operational Model and Product Owner teams to understand data architecture and support business-as-usual operations for upcoming changes.
- Develop data analytics capabilities to generate actionable insights and provide strategic inputs for operational model changes.
- Establish awareness around data lineage and document it using strategic toolsets.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to identify and bridge data gaps, deriving strategic solutions.
- Establish and oversee data access and entitlement protocols, ensuring alignment with the Chief Data Office's expectations.
- Create and disseminate key metrics and indicators related to data quality.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- MBA in Finance
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data strategy, governance, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, data analytics, and data governance frameworks.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills.
- Experience in developing and implementing data governance frameworks.
- Proficiency in data management and analytics tools.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Experience in financial services or regulatory reporting is a plus.
- Knowledge of strategic toolsets for data lineage and quality management.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- CFA/CA an advantage
