The Global AI Policy team is seeking an Associate to play a crucial role in supporting the AI policy team.
This role will involve regularly updating firmwide AI policy viewpoints and maintaining a comprehensive content library to support both internal policy development and external positioning and engagements. The AI Policy Associate will work closely with the Global Government Relations (GGR) and Chief Data and Analytics Office (CDAO) to ensure alignment with firmwide AI and data objectives and strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Support cross-functional, firmwide coordination of the team, including in support of regular-cadence meetings and tracking and monitoring key team objectives (ensuring agendas are prepared and action items are tracked and executed).
- Conduct research and analysis on AI policy trends, regulatory developments, and industry best practices to inform strategic decision-making.
- Support the creation of high-quality content for internal and external engagements, including presentations, reports, whitepapers, and policy briefs.
- Support strategic internal communications to keep firmwide audiences informed about AI and data policy initiatives, updates, and developments.
- Update and manage firmwide AI policy viewpoints, ensuring they reflect the latest developments and strategic priorities.
- Organize and manage logistics for internal and external AI policy-related engagements, ensuring successful execution and engagement.
- Provide robust administrative and logistical support for AI policy projects and initiatives, ensuring timely and effective execution across a complex, global team.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably including policy and/or government experience, or strategy/management consulting
- Strong analytical and independent problem-solving skills; sound judgment and strong collaborative decision-making skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts and strategies effectively
- Strong organizational skills and project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- High attention to detail; follows through to ensure accuracy and comprehensiveness
- Positive self-starter with a proactive approach, excellent time management, and prioritization skills
- Mastery of core Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
