We're looking for someone who is passionate about transforming the way in which Johnson & Johnson MedTech leverages data, analytics and technologies to make critical business decisions for concrete business impacts.
Experienced and dynamic leader to oversee enterprise-wide data analytics and contribute to strategic decision-making at the senior leadership level. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with senior leaders across various functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Thought Leadership: Set Visionary Strategies and implement innovative strategies, tools, and techniques that highlight data insights and enhance decision-making processes. Partner with senior leadership teams, influencing their business strategies to leverage data, analytics and technologies.
- Champion a Data-Driven Culture: Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team of Data Analysts, Business Intelligence Analysts, Product Analysts,
- Data Engineers, and Data Scientists. Oversee the production of comprehensive analytical reports and rigorous testing to provide valuable insights and strategic recommendations across the organization.
- Predictive Modeling Expertise: Supervise the deployment of advanced predictive and prescriptive models to optimize pricing and sales initiatives through data-driven insights and strategic roadmaps.
- Innovative Data Solutions: Spearhead the design and development of cutting-edge data analytics solutions, visualizations, and metrics that support pivotal decisions across global business units, regions, and countries.
- Collaboration with Senior Leaders: Facilitate engagement with senior leaders to understand their analytics needs, improve existing data products, and identify future opportunities to transform knowledge into actionable strategies.
- Market Intelligence Oversight: Collaborate with the Global Market Intelligence team to monitor external market developments and convert them into clear and impactful recommendations with collective input.
- Insight Generation: Drive initiative on insight generation to shape commercial and pricing strategies while governing global programs and leading change management efforts aligned with the new operating model.
- Data Strategy Leadership: Own and implement J&J MT's global commercial data strategy, working collaboratively with stakeholders in Technology, Commercial, Supply Chain, and R&D to enhance analytics capabilities and support business outcomes.
- Real-Time Insight Identification: Act as an "Insight Generator", integrating real-time insights from multiple channels to formulate a comprehensive view of both internal and external environments and drive business recommendations.
- Data Science Collaboration: Guide the selection, modeling, and implementation of Data Science use cases across various business units and regions, partnering with internal teams and external vendors to deliver effective predictive modeling capabilities.
- Market Trend Analysis: Analyze macroeconomic trends within key markets, particularly in MedTech healthcare, to understand their implications for the organization.
- Accelerating Decision-Making: Leverage social, digital, and mobile platforms to expedite decision-making through research innovation and iterative experimentation.
- Advanced Analytical Techniques: Utilize state-of-the-art analytical models and tools-including data discovery solutions, dashboards, and statistical techniques-to deliver ongoing insights and reports that reflect the organization's performance at all levels.
- Innovation in Data Methods: Continuously innovate by introducing new tools and techniques for real-time data gathering and insights generation.
- Global Price Planning & Forecasting: Lead the strategic development of global price planning and forecasting initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise targets, competitive pricing capabilities, and harmonization of regional pricing management.
- Pricing Education and Alignment: Provide leadership in market engagement, alignment, and skill enhancement related to pricing, including the development and delivery of educational programs.
- Governance, Compliance & Execution: Oversee global pricing governance and execution best practice, including the deployment of pricing frameworks and budget management strategies.
Qualifications
- 15+ years business experience within data analytics and pricing strategy.
- Experience in a global, multi-cultural or multi-country environment is preferred.
- Strong strategic, analytic, networking and negotiation skills are needed
- Ability to navigate and influence in a complex, global organization is essential
- Exhibit strong technical skills, business acumen, deep and sound functional expertise in strategic analytics and pricing.
- Proven leadership experience in data analytics and pricing strategy.
- Ability to lead people in different locations (USA, India, Europe) will be needed
- Travel up to 30%.
- Strong background in collaborating with senior executives and being able to communicate effectively in a simple manner.
- Exceptional organizational and motivational skills to lead a diverse team effectively.
- In-depth understanding of data science methodologies, modeling techniques, and market analytics in the healthcare space.
- Excellent communication skills to distill complex data into clear insights and actionable strategies.
- Experience in change management and governance in a global business context.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $173,000 to $299,000.
Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs such as health insurance, savings plan, pension plan, disability plan, long-term incentive, vacation pay, sick time, holiday pay, and work, personal and family time off in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
