Senior Lead Analyst - Analytics Technology

Infosys is seeking experienced Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions using advanced analytics and machine learning techniques. This role requires strong expertise in Python, PySpark, Databricks, Java and other relevant technologies, along with a deep understanding of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data visualization.

Required Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

  • At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Candidate must live within commuting distance of Montreal, Quebec or be willing to relocate. Travel within Canada may be required.

  • At least 4 years of experience in programming languages such as Python, along with experience using libraries and frameworks such as Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Scikit-learn, and TensorFlow/PyTorch.
  • At least 4 years of experience with big data technologies, including PySpark, Databricks, and Apache Spark, for large-scale data processing and analysis.
  • At least 4 years of experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and familiarity with services such as Databricks Workspace.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business problems that can be solved using data science methodologies.
  • At least 3 years of experience in advanced analytics techniques to extract insights from large, complex datasets and develop predictive models to support decision-making processes
  • At least 3 years of experience in Develop and maintain scalable machine learning pipelines using Python, PySpark, and other relevant tools and frameworks

  • Strong experience in Python data wrangling/analysis using Pandas, Numpy, Matplotlib, seaborn etc.
  • Good understanding of version control tools like git & Experience building CI/ CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with deep learning libraries like Tensorflow, Keras, pytorch
  • Understanding and awareness for Data science lifecycle
  • Excellent business communication and excellent relationship management ability and the ability to work across business units within complex organization
The job may entail extensive travel. The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
