Job Description
In the role of Optics Engineer Lead, you will be responsible for

Program Delivery:
  • Responsible for design and development of optical design which fulfill all customer and legal requirements (EU, Americas)
  • Evaluate and submit required optical performance optimizations.
  • Work with mechanical design through release to address mechanical issues that may impact integrity of optical prescription.
  • Ability to work on all the Exterior Lighting functions.
  • Hands on experience in Catia V5.
  • Good working Knowledge using Lucidshape, Speos or other Optical design software.
  • Knowledge on Global Legal requirements.
  • Provide technical resource to VA/VE initiatives.
Pre-Sales Support
  • Pursuit management for new proposals for the Client
  • Collaborate with Service Lines (Infosys) to develop client specific solution.
Required
  • 4 to 10 yrs consistent experience on Automotive Optics and lighting design.
  • Good Japanese bilingual knowledge with N2 level in addition to English
  • Proven experience of Supporting multiple programs
  • Experience of working alongside Multiple departments
  • Good in team management abilities
Preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written Japanese communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and networking skills
  • Experience in Automotiveindustry is added advantage.
  • Experience in Lighting domain is added advantage.
  • Agile experience is added advantage.
  • Ability to identify opportunities and support sales team in growth.
