Salary: AUD 129,311 - 142,018 Annual Gross

Qualification
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
  • 12+ years of experience within Information Technology.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience working on Iress Acurity platform.
  • Good hands-on knowledge of Superannuation domain.
  • Strong Analytical and Communication skills along with Planning and Co-ordination skills.
  • Experience in designing/developing/enhancing Iress Acurity Solutions - Focus on designing, developing and enhancing superannuation software solutions within the Iress Acurity platform, tailored to meet the evolving needs of the industry.
  • Customization and Integration experience: customize and integrate Iress Acurity solutions to align with specific client requirements and to optimise their superannuation operations.
  • Experience System Analysis and Improvement: Regularly analyse system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborative Project Management experience: Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of software projects, from initial concept to deployment.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of software development processes and provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress.
Mandatory skills
  • Iress Acurity Expertise: Strong experience in working with Iress Acurity, particularly in superannuation software development and customisation.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in languages such as .NET, Java, Python, or C++ is essential, with a focus on developing and enhancing superannuation software solutions.
  • Superannuation Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the superannuation industry, including familiarity with compliance standards, regulatory requirements, and financial products.
Preferred skills
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyse superannuation processes and requirements, and creatively solve complex problems within the Iress Acurity framework.
  • Communication and Collaboration Skills: Strong ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including superannuation experts and other software developers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • In-depth technical understanding, with strong diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong knowledge of technical concepts of solution architecture, contemporary IT strategies, directions, and technologies.
  • Strong customer service and excellent communications/consultative skills to decompose technical concepts for a non-technical audience.
  • Excellent relationship skills, stakeholder management and engagement skills, across the business at all levels including senior management and executive level.
  • Advanced application experience in leading technical design and strategy for complex applications.
  • Experience training, mentoring & developing others in improving their technical skills.
  • Strong operational background in analysing and resolving underlying technical issues in production systems.
