Your Role and Responsibilities
As Solution Sales professional your will be lead:
- Developing new customers and creating new business opportunities in the public sector in Japan
- Propose best practices to solve customers' issues regardless of IBM solutions and drive business to closure.
- Collaborate with other proposal members and delivery members to promote proposals.

Specific clients in Japan: Central government ministries and agencies, independent administrative agencies, local governments, etc.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience in working as a first-person salesperson to solve customer issues (government experience is not required).
- The goal is not to sell products, but to sell value, and the candidate must be willing to conduct such activities.
- Communication skills (collaboration, active listening)
- Advanced-level business Japanese (speaking, reading, writing) essential to perform role
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Ability to create rough sketch PowerPoints
- Experience in proposal preparation.
