Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 year of experience with data structures/algorithms and software development in one or more programming languages
- Experience in large-scale systems design.
- Experience with software engineering.
- Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with effective communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.

Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) combines software and systems engineering to build and run large-scale, massively distributed, fault-tolerant systems. SRE ensures that Google Cloud's services-both our internally critical and our externally-visible systems-have reliability, uptime appropriate to customer's needs and a fast rate of improvement. Additionally SRE's will keep an ever-watchful eye on our systems capacity and performance.

Responsibilities
- Work on the availability, scalability, efficiency and latency of one of Google Cloud's most critical services, collaborating with the development teams on design, architecture, and processes.
- Contribute to projects critical to Google Cloud's success.
- Respond to and resolve problems, then develop software and automation to prevent them from happening again.
- Participate in fostering a great team culture, and collaborate with our development partners in California and Bangalore.
