Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of industry experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 2 years of experience working with Google digital advertising products.
  • Experience working within the retails and E-commerce industry.
  • Experience working with advertisers, agencies, and/or clients.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in sales and customer management with the ability to deliver results.
  • Great understanding of the digital ecosystem including performance, apps, measurement and branding.
  • Strong Knowledge of Google products at a full funnel level including search, display and video, with an especially strong knowledge of the apps business and what drives adoption of app solutions.
  • Excellent organizational, business development and influencing skills.
  • Capacity to craft engaging and compelling narratives in verbal and written communications for senior customers, reflecting a nuanced understanding of diverse audiences/levels and communication styles.

In this role, you will help the Large Customer Sales (LCS) Middle East North Africa (MENA) Retail Team's mission to grow and develop the retail ecosystem, and to create long lasting partnerships with key regional retailers to support the growth of their businesses.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world's biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird's eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Own the app acceleration program across the retail team to enable other Industry Managers and Account Managers to unlock the app opportunity within the business.
  • Build strategic relationships with senior stakeholders of our MENA retail and e-commerce customers by adopting a customer centric mindset, understanding their business challenges and developing plans that help them achieve their business goals and digital aspirations.
  • Become a thought leader by deeply understanding the impact of digital and technology on the travel industry and our customers.
  • Own the business of assigned retail and e-commerce customers, team up with other members of the sales team and be accountable for developing account plans, executing projects and achieving sales targets.
  • Work cross-functionally and drive strategic initiatives involving multiple Google teams, functions and offices.
