Job Description Summary
GE Vernova is seeking a dynamic and experienced Pre-Sales Solution Architect with deep expertise in Predictive Analytics as part of enterprize Asset Performance Management methodology. Experience within Power Generation (Thermal, Renewables) industry in operations and maintenance, predictive analytics and reliability studies is critical to success in this role, while exposure to Oil and Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical, Metals and Mining would be a strong plus.
As a key member of our commercial team, you will act as a trusted advisor, leveraging your deep domain knowledge to identify customer needs, deliver tailored solutions, and drive significant ROI across these industries. Your technical understanding of customer's value drivers and GE Vernova's solutions space will help you identify the best solution fit to address customer's pains, with respective scope of software & services, solution specific reference architecture, software integration requirements and phases in software deployment in alignment with customers' roadmap.Your work will influence product strategy, foster team development, and position you as a technical expert in the Asset Performance Management space.

Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in shaping solutions that improve operational performance and maximize value for GE Vernova customers. You will engage with both direct end-users and internal GE Vernova business units (Gas Power, Steam Power, Hydro, Renewables, etc.) to help expand our service agreements and improve customer value. This role involves up to 50% national and international travel across North and Latin America.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Trusted Technical Advisor: Serve as a subject matter expert in Predictive Analytics and Asset Performance Management (APM) to guide the Commercial Sales Teams through solution generation, product strategy, and customer engagement.
- Customer Engagement: Lead early-stage discovery meetings with clients across various industries (Power Generation, Oil & Gas, Chemical, etc.) to identify pain points, understand customer needs, and map current workflows to highlight process improvements.
- Solution Development: Customize short-term and long-term solutions that address customer pain points, leveraging your deep technical expertise in predictive analytics and APM tools. Define Solution Architectures, leverage customer's data to advise on software usability/applicability, understand and utilize P&ID diagrams to assess customer's readiness for Predictive Analytics are part of solution scoping.
- Business Case Development: Build compelling, data-driven business cases that demonstrate the financial, operational, and environmental benefits of adopting GE Vernova's APM tools. Ensure these cases illustrate clear value to justify the investment.
- RFP/RFI Management: Take ownership of the response process to customer RFPs/RFIs, addressing technical, functional, and cybersecurity requirements.
- Product Demonstrations: Conduct tailored product demos for both senior leadership (focusing on strategic value) and technical teams (providing detailed, in-depth demos).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Services and Commercial Operations teams to create cohesive technical and commercial proposals. Ensure that customer needs are met and align project scopes with value hypotheses.
- Industry Leadership: Represent GE Vernova at industry forums, events, and in white papers. Share insights and competitive dynamics to drive continuous improvement in the product strategy and commercial processes.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in technical sales, implementation, or remote monitoring with a focus on Predictive Analytics and APM solutions.
- Expertise in consultative selling, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts and demonstrate value to C-suite executives.
- Proficient in crafting data-driven business cases that highlight the ROI and value of APM tools.
- Strong experience in customer relationship management, with the ability to engage across multiple industries (Power Generation, Oil & Gas, Chemical, Metals, Petrochemical).
- Degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) or related field.
Desired Characteristics
- Experience in Power Generation, Oil & Gas, Chemical, and/or Metals/Mining industries.
- Experience in working with equipment manufacturers and service providers (like GE Vernova Gas Power) and generating value of predictive analytics as part of service agreements

The salary range for this position is $119,000USD - $149,000USD. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for commission.
