What impact you'll make?
The Lead Manufacturing Engineer will establish internal processes that safely ensures the production of high quality products that meet compliance and project requirements for heavy duty gas turbine large machining operations. Drive continuous improvement across the product lines by owning project timelines, improving cycle & cost, and resolving technical/process/quality issues. Lead and effectively interface with manufacturing and other support teams to complete projects to meet EHS, production, quality, and cost savings goals within schedule and budget.

Job Description
What you will do:
- Proactively problem solve and utilize creative thinking to drive implementation of different initiatives within the cell
- Lead improvement efforts for equipment reliability, tooling, process controls, and safety/ergonomic solutions
- Manage projects and continuous improvement efforts in accordance with plant metrics
- Support execution of capital investments delivering desired outcomes on schedule & within budget
- Work with cross-functional team to drive 5S, standard work, and other lean initiatives
- Support product qualifications as needed
- Maintain and improve process documentation to ensure consistent quality.
- Support improvements partnering with relevant departments to improve consumable cost
- Develop machine, fixture, and tooling strategies for new product introduction
- Develop work instructions & procedures to support operator training and process control
- Mentor others in area of expertise
- Lead the cell Manufacturing Engineers everyday work, define priorities and helping to reach their goals
- Ensure stable product/manufacturing support in the cell, make corrective actions (Lean, EHS, Quality, Technology) within deadline
- Implement COQ actions in order to improve the process First Pass Yield
- Participate to improve manufacturing layout/flow analysis/workers and machine needs
What you'll bring
- Bsc. Or Msc. degree in Engineering (Advanced degree preferred)
- Significant experience as Manufacturing/Process/Product Engineer
- Practical knowledge of machining and fabrication techniques
- Fluent in English, Hungarian
- Lean approach
- Drawing/BOM understanding and correlation
- Knowledge in quality/productivity modern tools
- Team player behaviour, open minded and energetic personality,
