Roles and Responsibilities

  • Create definitions of parts, modules, and assemblies in the form of 2D cross sections, 3D models, tolerance stack-ups, and various electronic data formats to support analysis, manufacturing, assembly, tooling, and inspection
  • Developing conceptual knowledge of professional discipline. May include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad area.
  • Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience. Understands how work of own team contributes to the area.
  • Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
  • Collaborates with others to solve issues. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Exchanges technical information, asks questions and checks for understanding.

Required Qualifications

  • For roles outside of the USA- This role requires basic experience in the Engineering/Technology & Product Definition. Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college is required.
  • For roles in USA - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $16,285.71 - 21,714.29 - 27,142.86 USD annually.

The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.

The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.

This position is also eligible for a variable incentive bonus of 8%
