Job Description Summary

Preparation of proposals/bids, contract negotiation and compliance with contract commitments and commercial risk assessment Impacts the team's ability to achieve service, quality and timeliness of objectives. Subject to Commercial policy objectives. Has independence in achieving commercial objectives within operating budgets and operating guidelines. There is moderate autonomy within the role to enter into/execute Commercial arrangements. High levels of Commercial judgment are required to achieve outcomes required.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work as a key member of the Nuclear Inquiry To Order ("ITO") team in support of achieving the commitments, orders, sales, cash, operating profit, and margin targets for the Nuclear Segment.
  • Working with the Nuclear Sales, Operations, and functional teams, lead the ITO proposal generation and contract formation process for high complexity/value projects across the segment with the intent of developing winning strategies to leverage successful deal closures while ensuring compliance with established guidelines for the Policy 5.0 risk management process. Actively participate in and/or lead commercial and technical meetings and contract negotiations with customers.
  • Be responsible for driving and coordinating ITO process compliance and metrics across assigned deal opportunities with special emphasis on Policy 5.0 requirements, proposal and contract completeness, timeliness, and quality, and the effectiveness and efficiency of the ITO-OTR (Inquiry To Order - Order To Remittance) handover process. Drive proposal throughput, yield, cost, efficiency, and individual productivity.
  • Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems within projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, campaigns or customers. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders or customers. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
  • May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on particular topics. May guide others to consider a different point of view.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline, from an accredit college or university, or 7+ years of experience in Sales/Commercial Operations/Services
  • 5+ years of experience within the Power Generation, Aviation or similar Industrial Industry

If contracted in the US:

The salary range for this position is 128.200,00 to 170.900,00 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a 35% performance bonus.

The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
