Description
Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report onsite at the GM Global Technical Center - Sloan Engineering Center at least three times per week minimum or other frequency dictated by the business.

Responsibilities:
- Support automation activities by implementing new scripts that will ensure robust features and interfaces.
- Support plan and schedule cadence-based testing for automation execution on CBL benches.
- Perform automated test execution, logging and tracking defects aligning SW development process for different ECUs, and support defect reproduction efforts.
- Report issues in JIRA and PRTS.
- Perform infotainment subsystem ECU and supporting bench component update activities.
- Contribute automation testing for high priority defects needing reproduction.

Additional Description
- Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer or related
- 2+ years' experience and demonstrated proficiency with infotainment or telematics in systems engineering, validation, or release functions
- Validation and verification experience in Sanity, Functional, Smoke, Stability, Stress Performance, Ad-hoc.
- Solid understanding of Vehicle Electrical Architecture and Subsystem/Features in the Infotainment domain.
- Experience with debugging GMLAN/CAN, Automotive Ethernet vehicle communication system or CAN based monitoring tools.
- Experience with LVDS I2C beagle tool logging and debugging
- Experience in using IBM rational tools like RTC, RQM, DOORS including CI tools Jenkins, Artifactory.
- Experience developing automation tools in Python and Java or any other language
- Ability to handle complex problems and propose solutions
- Ability to conceptualize and think broadly
- High level of oral and written communication skills
- High level of interpersonal skills to work independently and effectively with others
Compensation: The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of New York, Colorado, California, or Washington
- Compensation: The expected base compensation for this role is : $75,000 - $119,800 . Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
- Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
