Onsite -This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Warren, Michigan on a full-time basis.
The Role
The Community Leader is the single point of contact and Building Owner for all Sustainable Workplaces needs (Maintenance, Housekeeping, Roads & Grounds). They are responsible for strategic planning to execute a high level of facility services within a site. They will work closely cross-functionally with the business partners and tenants to ensure execution of the service agreement to create places people want to be. Provides high level support to complex, high visibility activities within the building footprint.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
- Be a leader in the GM safety culture, ensuring everyone goes home safely every day, through extensive knowledge of the workplace safety system and safety contract management.
- Provide results in a manner that is truthful and demonstrates strength of character.
- Demonstrate a culture of inclusion by actively listening, embracing change and educating others to work effectively together while providing training and coaching.
- Achieve business results by creating a work environment that fosters a positive and inclusive culture that is based on feedback and recognition.
- As a single point of contact for the building tenants, you will be responsible for daily interface and coordination of all Sustainable Workplaces activities for their respective building(s) and/or business unit to ensure high quality and timely delivery of building maintenance and housekeeping services.
- Act as the voice of the tenant in long term project planning and execution by pulling in the required resources such as Facility Engineering, Facility Construction, Transformation, R
- esource Management, Communications, Real Estate, Food and Administration Services.
- Responsible for supporting the workspace transformation projects and culture change by actively partnering with the Sustainable Workplaces' cross functional teams.
Additional Description
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Maintenance Management or related field or equivalent training/experience
- 2 years experience in facility/building systems and/or property management processes
- Working knowledge in business application software (Microsoft office, Corrigo, Maximo, Power BI) and other related electronic tools.
- Preferred BOMI, IFMA, 6 Sigma or other applicable professional certifications.
- Communicate proficiently to all levels of the organization (Shop floor to executive, including Vice Presidents)
