Description

Work Arrangement:

This role is based remotely but if you live within a 50-mile radius of Atlanta, Austin, Detroit, Warren, Pontiac, Milford or Mountain View, you are expected to report to that location three times a week, at minimum.

The Role:

We are seeking a Business Manager for the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems - Software Engineering Organization. In this role, you will direct and coordinate business management tasks, provide comprehensive support to the assigned ADAS Executive Director and function in day-to-day business operations. Additionally responsibilities include supporting in analysis, development and coordination of information and data. You should be well versed in task assessment, planning, and rapid execution. The nature of this position provides exposure to sensitive information as well as senior leaders.

The Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) team is at the forefront of developing cutting-edge technologies that enhance vehicle safety, performance, and autonomy. Your Responsibilities will include:

  • Support the ADAS Executive Director in the organization and running of business processes for the team including staff meetings, special assignments, regular business reviews and other key meetings as deemed necessary
  • Support planning, development, and execution of the Executive Director's business plan, key strategies and initiatives
  • Represent and reinforce the Executive Director's technical and organizational direction
  • Support and coordinate business/technical meetings
  • Manage and plan assignments along with priority goals and requirements in the preparation of difficult projects
  • Develop and maintain the project business cases (deliverables, benefits, timing)
  • Analyze execution of functional initiatives versus the functional business plan
  • Interpret complex quantitative and qualitative data and recommend solutions to unusual and complex problems
  • Manage budgets
  • Collect and analyze key operating metrics for the group
  • Develop and conduct presentations for all levels of management
  • Set agendas to ensure high impact topics & efficiency, follow up on action items
  • Ensure appropriate communication and collaboration between business partners, and other functional areas
  • Support internal communications to employees, including diagonal slices, all-people meetings, town halls, and other internal publications
  • Handle a variety of special assignments

Required Qualifications:

Must have at least 3-5+ years' of relevant work experience in one of the following areas:

Chief of Staff

Program Specialist

Program Strategy

Project/Planning Management

Business Manager

  • Highly proficient communication and interpersonal skills required to build relationships with local and global team members as well as customers to solve problems and resolve issues
  • In-depth and clear understanding of assigned and integrated processes
  • Work experience in strategic planning and execution
  • Must be proficient with technologies including Microsoft Office Suite, CoPilot and project management software, but also identify and embrace new technologies, programs, applications, and tools to enhance productivity
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex internal dynamics and stakeholder relationships
  • Experience creating, editing and formatting documents, spreadsheets, and presentations with accuracy and precision
  • Analytical ability and aptitude
  • Must be able to manage multiple complex projects and assignments with a high degree of autonomy and accountability

Skills and Experience that may give you a competitive edge:

  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
  • Experience with business and engineering processes
  • Experience in the tech and/or automotive industry

Compensation :

The salary range for this role is $85,100-$135,900. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.

Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
