Job Description Summary

This is a strategic position at Multi modal facility in Pune which is one of the largest manufacturing sites in the company and manufactures products for Aviation, Power, Renewables, Oil & Gas and Transportation industries. Incumbent is responsible to support in driving lean transformation at the site and meeting the targets around customer fulfillment, lead time reduction and a culture of continuous improvement across the site.

Job Description

  • Essential Responsibilities (Key responsibilities include):
  • Must have experience in creating pool of Lean Manufacturing domain experts by identifying, training and coaching the right talents at the site
  • Hands on experience in driving cultural change across the organization around On-time delivery, lead time reduction, inventory reduction embracing lean through training, AWO and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Drive key projects around delivering growth and expansion for the site.
  • Must have experience in Implementing TPM
  • Develop & Implement lean culture using Tools & methodologies such as 5S,VSM,Prodtivity Improvement , Daily Management & Kaizen events.
  • Experience in using problem solving methdologies by analyze current processes & identify improvement opportunities
  • Hands-on experience in implementing TPM in Operations starting from scratch
  • Collaborate with maintenance & operation team to enhance OEE
  • Develop & deliver training on TPM principles to empower HPT team
  • Plan ,Lead & execute cross functional kaizen events to drive process improvement
  • Hands-on experience in creating Visual Management in Shop floor
  • Exposure to Time & motion study & Standard work creation

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's in Mechanical from an accredited university or college with 5-10 years experience in manufacturing operations with proven track record of results using Lean methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and drive cross functional cultural change.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated ability in flawless execution of the projects

Desired Characteristics:

  • Additional cross-functional leadership experience in the areas of finance, engineering, and/or quality is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in all customer service areas
  • Hands on experience in carrying Kaizen events, TPM implementation, problem solving
  • Humble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learn
