The Vice President, Product Management will drive the development and success of new product lines, leveraging 15+ years of product management experience and 5+ years of leadership experience. This role focuses on strategic vision, cross-functional collaboration, and mentoring a high-performing team to deliver innovative solutions that align with business goals. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of launching successful products, leading diverse teams, and working across engineering, sales, and marketing to deliver measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and execute your assigned portfolio's product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market opportunities.
  • Develop and manage a product roadmap prioritizing initiatives with the highest business and customer impact.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to identify growth opportunities and inform long-term planning.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of product managers and cross-functional partners.
  • Foster a collaborative culture focused on innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Recruit and retain top talent while ensuring team alignment with business goals.

Product Development

  • Partner with engineering and design teams to deliver new product lines and enhancements that meet high technical and usability standards.
  • Oversee the integration of third-party APIs and systems, ensuring seamless interoperability within the product ecosystem.
  • Define and implement best practices for product development, leveraging customer feedback and market insights to guide decisions.

Market Analysis and Innovation

  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to inform product strategy.
  • Drive innovation by identifying and delivering new product opportunities that align with company goals.
  • Serve as a thought leader and company representative at industry events and with external stakeholders.

Go-To-Market Support

  • Partner with sales and marketing teams to ensure successful GTM launches, including messaging, positioning, and readiness planning.
  • Provide product expertise and training to enable sales teams to effectively communicate value propositions to customers.
  • Collaborate on the creation of marketing materials and campaigns to drive adoption and engagement.

Operational and Financial Management

  • Establish and monitor KPIs to evaluate product performance and team effectiveness.
  • Manage resources and budgets to drive efficiency and scalability.
  • Ensure all product development efforts align with strategic and financial goals.

Qualifications

Experience

  • 15+ years in product management or a closely related field, with demonstrated success in building and launching impactful products.
  • 5+ years in a senior leadership role, managing product teams and defining strategy.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching new product lines that deliver measurable business outcomes.

Technical Expertise

  • Experience overseeing API development and third-party integrations, ensuring seamless technical implementation.
  • Familiarity with modern tech stacks and tools, with a focus on scalable and secure solutions.

Skills and Competencies

  • Exceptional leadership and team-building capabilities.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in agile methodologies and the product development lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Experience partnering with sales and marketing teams to support GTM strategies and product launches.
  • Ability to synthesize technical and business requirements into actionable strategies and deliverables.

Industry Knowledge

  • Deep understanding of SaaS, marketing solutions, or related industries is preferred.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Achievement of product roadmap milestones within the assigned portfolio.
  • Successful launch of new product lines, measured by revenue, adoption, and customer satisfaction.
  • Customer retention and satisfaction rates related to portfolio features.
  • Efficiency metrics, such as time-to-market and development cycle times.

The annualized base salary for this role will range between $220,000 and $250,000. Base compensation is reflective of many factors, including, but not limited to,
the market in which one lives/works, individual education level, skills, certifications, and
experience. Note: variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable.
