Everbridge, a fast-growing global provider of SaaS-based critical communications and enterprise safety solutions, is actively seeking a Software Engineer to join our team based in Hungary. This is a remote/home-based position that can be based anywhere in Hungary.
Join our team and play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our innovative Travel Risk Management and SaaS-based Critical Event Management platforms. Built on a robust .NET stack, these platforms are designed to process critical event and travel data, provide powerful visualizations, and enable global communication to safeguard lives during emergencies.
What you'll do:
- Maintain and optimize platform and customer configurations for optimal performance.
- Participate in routine system maintenance and software defect resolution efforts.
- Collaborate closely with a team of skilled full-stack developers to deliver high-impact solutions.
- Develop using cutting-edge web technologies such as C#, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Implement modern platform technologies including Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS to ensure scalability and reliability.
- Participate actively in sprint planning sessions to contribute to project timelines and deliverables.
- Drive innovation by implementing new features and capabilities within our platforms.
- Foster collaboration across engineering teams, championing best practices and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrate a proactive attitude towards learning new skills and technologies to stay ahead in the field.

What you'll bring:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience developing in a .NET full-stack environment.
- 2+ years of experience building scalable web applications with .NET Core, ASP.NET, and MS SQL Server (or similar technologies).
- Proficiency in front-end development using JavaScript or JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React).
- Strong background in writing scalable multi-threaded web applications and services.
- Familiarity with DevOps automation tools such as Azure DevOps, GitLab, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.
Bonus to have:
- Experience working in a cloud-based deployment environment.
- Agile and Scrum methodology experience.
- Knowledge of geospatial technologies.
- Exposure to containerization technologies like Kubernetes, Docker.
