As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our AWS or Azure cloud environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of our applications. You will work closely with development teams to streamline deployment processes and improve infrastructure through automation.

Responsibilities
- Work closely with container automation tooling such as Kubernetes and EKS
- Provide exceptional Tier 2 support for multiple compute platforms and their containerized solutions
- Deploy, implement, and maintain a secure scalable compute platform as it evolves with the industry
- Champion SRE methodologies around monitoring, alerting, and establishing SLOs, SLAs
- Identify and execute on opportunities to optimize existing systems, improve infrastructure and eliminate work through automation
- Work alongside other teams in providing post-mortem analysis of why services broke or became degraded
- Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Design and build automation suites to streamline operational support
- Understand and support CNCF tools like ArgoCD, Crossplane, and Kyverno
- Participate in our on-call rotation for production services we build

- 3+ years of relevant experience in DevOps or similar role
- Experience with containerized applications and automation tools like EKS or Kubernetes
- Exposure to and understanding of cloud architectures/services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
- Established understanding of observability fundamentals (Logging, Metrics, Tracing)
- Excellent organizational, communication, and technical skills needed for exceptional support team
- Ability to learn quickly, master our existing systems and identify areas of improvement
- Strong technical background and ability to think creatively to solve problems
- Strong critical thinking skills, with a test & learn mentality and willingness to try, fail, learn
- Must have skills in Helm, any programming language for scripting, Terraform/Terragrunt, and ServiceMesh (Istio)/Networking knowledge
- Competency in observability tools (Datadog/Prometheus)
- Experience with GitHub Action
- Knowledge of Kyberno/OPA/GateKeeper
- Familiarity with SRE concepts
- Experience with ArgoCD
